Don’t worry about being yourself, this thought will comes in your head when you analyze how you come across others and what others think about you, then  only the behavior modification seems appealing. Things turn when you try to see yourself through someone else’s eyes (it’s more like using them as a mirror) and adjust your image accordingly. It is suggested to stop your inner clamoring for approval and focus on being present in the external world. You’ll have a lot more fun.<\/p>\n

Some of the benefits of being yourself are,<\/p>\n

  1. You will become a better listener as you stop thinking about yourself and what you want to say. You tend to be present in the moment and tuned into the conversation.<\/li>\n
  2. You will become less calculative. Reason when you try to adjust yourself as per the other person, it results in manipulations so that they see you in a different way. If you simply be yourself i.e., the real you then they’ll subconsciously appreciate your straight-forward identity. Remember even then people will misinterpret who you are, but that will happen no matter what you do.<\/li>\n
  3. You will adored by others. When you are yourself as compared to managing your image, some people will like you more and some will like you less, but remember people pleasers are often the ones who aren’t themselves, because they want to be liked by everyone, even though that is impossible with nearly 7 billion unique personalities and value systems. Just be yourself and the people will naturally like your personality and appreciate you for being genuine and straight-forward, which is worth it.<\/li>\n
  4. You tend to be more relaxed. In order to fit in a given situation you have to do several things from repressing your natural habits to analyzing the environment and fabricating a suitable image accordingly. But being oneself takes no effort at all – you react and live from the heart. You will feel more relaxed when you know you don’t have to put on a front cover and you enjoy being in your own skin!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Tips to be yourself<\/p>\n

    •  Do not aim to please.<\/li>\n
    • Focus on being fully present in your external environment; react and create without over-analyzing.<\/li>\n
    • Do not worry about how others see you, or it will unnaturally alter your behavior and probably make you seem insecure.<\/li>\n
    • Get to know yourself. Take time to reflect on your values and how you really want to live.<\/li>\n
