It is a very broad concept about marketing. If we think about marketing we can say in this present time in the world everything is depending on marketing. It is of 2 types –<\/span><\/p>\n

1. Product marketing
\n2. Service marketing<\/b><\/p>\n

Product marketing we can say company wants to sell the product in the market to the customers. It is either in direct way or in indirect way. Direct way means company itself involved in selling the product in the market and indirect means company will depend on another company to sell the product in the market.
\nService marketing means selling the service in the market like giving product support to customers. It is also the same kind like direct and indirect. The service of a company is directly proportional to the growth of the company. It because if the service of a company is good, then it will gain more customers in the market.
\nNow come to our topic that is smart marketing !! Before understanding this I like to explain you about the information technology. Information technology (IT) is making life easier and better with the development of science. To get more profit companies like to add more good value to their products and services. But it needs so much effort and time. So the benefit that the companies get by involving IT in the marketing field that it makes the process easier and better. That\u2019s why when the company make marketing by involving the IT , it is so-called as smart marketing.
\nNow E-Marketing is the concept that everyone adopting due to easy use of technology. Online shopping is quite popular in among people, because it gives more comfortable to buy products by sitting at one place and with low investment. It is all because if IT. Website, social sites, e-commerce sites are playing vital role in day-to-day life.
\nWe see point wise how IT plays an important role for marketing:<\/p>\n

1. Planning
\n2. Production
\n3. Pricing
\n4. Procurement<\/b><\/p>\n

We have divided it in 4 steps<\/p>\n

1. Planning: –<\/b> As we can say the most important phase of marketing. Without a proper plan we cannot sustain in the market. IT helps us in planning the marketing of products. Now question is HOW? There are so many decision-making software tools available by using which we can make analysis report of a product, so that it is easier for us to make one decision. We can say VINSIM, EXPERT CHOICE etc like software are available in the market by using which we can make good plan. Apart from this some good BI(business intelligence) tools are there , which give more comfortable process for doing business. Some big companies have technical units who handle the marketing process of the company. For example if a company wants to make selling through online then it needs a proper plan that how to implement the e-commerce site so that people can easily buy and they will not face problem while giving payments. That time the technical team who are related to IT will make the plan to implement software for selling the product through online. Like Flipkart , Snapdeal etc are doing now a days.<\/p>\n

2. Production: – <\/b>Generally production depends on the man power and raw materials. But what in present situation, companies have raw materials but skilled employees are less. So for this situation it needs the help of IT. Automation in production is a concept that helps the company to produce product as per time with highly effective machinery and good quality of technique. And it also helps the management to monitor the work process in the company. Another thing is that when the demand is more in the market at that time by the help of IT company can able to get noticed about the quantity of the product available for selling. So one company can easily maintain the warehouse by the use of IT.<\/p>\n

3. Pricing: – <\/b>It is very much essential for the company to make good MRP for a product. And also it is essential for the seller to keep record for the selling price of the product. So that company can able to get their cash flow easily. The best example of this is the bar code reader. It is one of the good implementation of IT.<\/p>\n

4. Procurement: –<\/b> Transporting the product from one place to another place is so much important, and it is depends on time. When it is in online shopping the customer always needs to get the product as in a stipulated time. For which there is online tracking system, which helps the customer to track the product online and know when the product will reach to right place.<\/p>\n

So smart marketing concept is changing the life style, people are adopting these things by the help of computer , internet , and smart phones.<\/p>\n
