\"Diversity\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Diversity is a state of having many different forms, types, ideas etc. If we define in simple language then it describes the differences in gender, culture, tradition, behaviour,intelligence and religion.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

India is known for its cultural diversity. There are many people from different background, different languages, different beliefs, different religion and have different identity. It is the exploration of these differences in a safe, positive and nurturing environment.<\/p>\n

Diversity is about understanding the differences of each other. It gives chance to the people to experience the different kind of world. Someone said :<\/p>\n

“People become focused on having diversity for the same of diversity and it loses the power to address existing inequalities. “<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

People should understand the value of differences. At workplace, diversity plays a vital role. Businesses benefit in many ways from hsvibg employees with different background and perspective.<\/p>\n

A recent study of Deloitte<\/strong><\/em> found that when it comes to defining diversity, people are more concerned with hiring those who have different viewpoints due to growing up in different part of the country.<\/p>\n

India is rich in its cultural heritage. Here we experience a large amalgamation of different cultures. We try to understand the culture of each other. The festivals, customs, variety of foods, way of talking, myths and beliefs provide new experience.<\/p>\n

In school and colleges as well, diversity plays an important role. Students meet different kind of people. They learn about each other’s culture. It helps them to relate to each other. Diversity helps in understanding and accepting of people for who they are.<\/p>\n

“Diversity is the one thing we all have in common.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Now it depends on us how we honor these differences. \u00a0We should learn to respect the differences. Have you seen the magnet and heard about that opposite poles attract? Just like that strength lies in differences not in similarities.<\/p>\n

At workplace, school, college, government organizations people celebrate all the festivals. There are national holidays too. These all are the symbol that we accept diversity. Always remember “Beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people.”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
