\"Perception<\/a><\/p>\n

Have you ever gone to the supermarket and bought more than you needed. We all just term it as a shopping streak and move on.<\/p>\n

But, what if there is more to it than that. What if\u00a0 your are subconsciously being made susceptible to buy more products than required.<\/p>\n

We’ll then what your experiencing is priming. Priming is deliberately influencing your subconscious mind through different symbols and precisely established clues to alter your perception of reality without you knowing it.<\/p>\n

Consumer behavior is influenced through\u00a0 an arsenal of tactics like brand names, slogans, endorsers, pricing, and salespeople. These are the ones we know of there are an array of techniques we don’t know about like prime, associated mental constructs which allow consumers to associate to a certain product.<\/p>\n

Priming is one of them. It is used on a daily basis all around us to influence are decision making. Priming is done through symbolic clues which hit your subconscious to build a perception.<\/p>\n

Let’s take an e.g. Of any mall or shop where they guarantee on selling\u00a0 high quality fresh\u00a0 and environmentally sound fruits and vegetables.\u00a0 Which suggests that the veggies there are all fresh.<\/p>\n

But are they really can we really assume that without a shadow of doubt.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let’s see if that’s true<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When you first walk into any such store the first thing you’ll see are fresh luscious\u00a0 flowers. To the common eye them seem to\u00a0 be there for beauty but what they are really there for are to unconsciously suggest the customer of freshness.<\/p>\n

Then when you go up to the ail you’ll see that the name plates where the price is written it\u00a0 written with chalk, like the farmer just came down this morning and wrote them. To the contrary there decided in a office somewhere and such tags are manufactured in the plant.<\/p>\n

Then lets come to the part as to why there are so many ice packs everywhere you look . Do veggies really need to be kept that cold.<\/p>\n

No they don’t. The ice is another symbolic to manipulate you.<\/p>\n

Similarly the tactic of sprinkling water on or veggies to make them look fresh no matter how many days old they may be has been a very old technique\u00a0 to display freshness and purity.<\/p>\n

Ironically the same dewy mist makes the vegetable rot even faster.<\/p>\n

So much for perception versus reality.<\/strong><\/p>\n

So the next time you happen to grab your wallet to go shopping . Keep in mind these tactics and don’t be fooled by your retailer.<\/p>\n

Brainwashing you to believe the perception rather than the <\/strong>reality.<\/strong><\/p>\n
