Hello friends we see numerous interviews everyday on our television screens and wonder how it all came together.<\/p>\n

Interviews are basically an introduction to the interview to draw readers in and then\u00a0 a transcript of the conversation structured as to \u00a0unveil a very ordinary person as a star someone very important and interesting.<\/p>\n

Presenting him in such a way that the reader could somehow relate to him.<\/p>\n

Such is an e.g. given below<\/p>\n

The life of your everyday street vendor<\/p>\n

We move through our lives day in day out so involved in our own sorrows that we forget that we live in a world full of stories. Stories of struggle and survival, such is the story of Prasant whom we all knew as the Nescafe wale bhayia..in the palm village locality of Delhi<\/p>\n

1. Hello Prasant tell us about your self ?<\/b><\/p>\n

Hii, I am Prasant Kumar from Muzafrpur Bihar .<\/p>\n

I am street vendor at Satya Nikatan market Delhi.<\/p>\n

I own a hotdog cart.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

2. So when did u start working ?<\/b><\/p>\n

I started working from the age of 12.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>That’s a very tender age to start working ,<\/b><\/p>\n

isn’t it .why did u start so early?<\/b><\/p>\n

Well I was not interested in studies , so being the \u00a0eldest \u00a0child\u00a0 of the family I came to Delhi in search<\/p>\n

of a job to support my family.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>So how long has it been in Delhi & \u00a0where is your family?<\/b>
\nIt’s been 4-5 years in Delhi, my parents are back at Bihar and my younger sisters live with me here at Patel nagar.<\/p>\n

 
\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>So do you sometimes feel that\u00a0 your life would have been something else if you hadn’t come to Delhi at\u00a0 such a young age ?<\/b>
\nNo , I don’t fell so \u00a0I try to do my best to support my family. Apart from this I am doing my graduation through correspondence\u00a0 and will apply in the railway
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>What kind of job at the railway you hope for?<\/b>
\nWell I hope for A class job of a driver but anything will do I have been also trying in the defense and various other places where ever I might find a job to support my family<\/p>\n

 
\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>How often do you go home ?<\/b>
\nI try to … but it’s not possible as I have to pay my brothers fee.
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>So what is it that your \u00a0brother and sisters are doing? <\/b>
\nI asked my brother what he wanted to do and he said BMLT, so he is doing BMLT from Darjeeling and one of my sister is preparing for PO & the other for CA.
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>So u must be supporting your sister as well?<\/b>
\nNo ,my sisters support me quite the opposite .
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

10.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>Isn’t it quite unusual your sisters supporting you and \u00a0pursuing higher education?<\/b>
\nNo its not ,I was not that interested in studying so I dropped out while my sisters continued.
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

11.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>Everyone has something special ,there must be something that you’re interested in ?<\/b>
\nI am interested in music ,music is my passion whenever I get the time I try something on my guitar though m not a very good player but I try my level best .
\n<\/b><\/p>\n

12.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>what did you do before this hotdog cart?<\/b>
\nI worked at the Nescafe shop at kalindi college for 3-4 months before this .<\/p>\n

 
\n13.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>So what are your plans for the future?<\/b>
\nWell there is no plan other than\u00a0 to survive .<\/p>\n

 
\n14.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/b>If you get the opportunity will you take up music <\/b>
\nWhy not ill be more than happy to music is my passion and if I get the opportunity ill surely take it forward.” Music is my life”<\/b><\/p>\n

You can see how Prasant has been displayed as a very uncommon common man with dreams and aspirations.<\/p>\n
