Information received under this act the report card of public authorities and from this report card the general people may analyze their performance. But this require to come forward and get the required information from the concerned department.<\/p>\n<p>A citizen of India can apply for information, make appeal and put complain under this act. This act is application to whole India except the state\u00a0 Jammu &amp; Kashmir. One has to apply to the Public Information Officers (PIO ) Or Central APIO of the public authority with Rs.10 as a fees ( it differs from state to state) but no fees to BPL. There is no\u00a0 particular application form but some authorities have given on their website.<\/p>\n<p>If you really interest in knowing the progress of developments and\u00a0 various schemes provided to the needy\u00a0 person,and how public authorities are using public funds, apply through RTI act and get satisfaction or provide feedback to the public authorities. This act is favourable for both the people and authorities.
