In the\u00a0Global Human Capital Trends 2014 conducted by Delloite it has emerged that the third greatest challenge in human capital management is the requirement to reskill the HR team.\u00a0 Only 7% of HR leaders surveyed expressed confidence in their team to develop and deliver innovative programs that double up as key business drivers. Business leaders had a consensus on the fact. Only 25% of business leaders committed that their HR teams continuously delivered excellent or good results as per the survey, compared to 75% who expressed dissenting opinions.
\nAs an impacting business partner, HR teams need to acquire an ever increasing wide skills repository. Understanding of workforce demographics and global culture; impact of new technologies in recruiting, the importance of nurturing institutional learning, utilized social networks to drive its initiative, and Human resource analytics; and stay up to date with developments in, \u00a0mobility of talent, and performance management.
