Reverse supply chain
Reverse logistics is the system of overseeing the return of goods. It is also defined as “aftermarket customer services”. Every time money is taken from a company’s warranty reserve or service logistics budget, it can be termed as reverse logistics. Reverse logistics also includes the process of the return of goods from store, the returned goods being transferred to the warehouse and thereafter the warehouse can scrap the goods return it to the supplier for a replacement.
